Results of Amazon Giveaway

Last week I took advantage of Kindle Direct Publishing’s giveaway promotion. I had the ebook free Monday through Friday. Sixteenth books were downloaded. As I understand it another book was outright bought the next day. I’m pretty certain that’s a new record for me. I’ve done these giveaways before, back when I was publishing ebooks, but I stopped when I realized only one person was getting them, and he was a somewhat unstable fan whose interest wasn’t good for business. Sadly he passed away about a year ago, and I really want this book to sell, so I not only did the ebook edition but the giveaway as well. And it seems to have been worth it. When they actually read some of it, maybe they’ll even like it, write good reviews, and this’ll start rolling…
