Collider, Kindle edition, released

The Kindle edition of Collider, the first book in the Danab Cycle saga, is now available.

This book was thirty years in the making. I was a callow teenager who had no idea what he was doing when I came up with the bones of the story, which became increasingly complex in the ensuing years, until I was finally ready to write it last year.

The core Galactic Alliance world of Omox suddenly explodes, a setup that allowed me to explore the Superman mythology of Krypton’s destruction, the mystery of why it happened, later echoed in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek with the loss of Vulcan. In Collider, the mystery deepens as the three Benson brothers find themselves drawn into the complex web of events surrounding the planet’s loss and its aftermath, including a colleague who has become unstuck from time…

Told partially in hindsight from students trying to make sense of history, it’s a space opera of ambitious scope.

Hardcover and paperback editions will follow shortly.
